Happy 13th Anniversary babe!!

Wow 13 years and we made it!! It has been a tough 13 years with a lot of tears and obstacles along the way but it has so been worth it. So my gift to you is 13 reasons "Why I Love You"........

1. I Love to hear you laugh it makes my heart happy.

2. I Love you in your uniform !!! Huba Huba

3. I Love that you take the kids places to give me a much needed break.

4. I Love that no matter what we have for dinner you NEVER complain.

5. I LOVE that tush and don't get me started on those lips!!!

6. I Love that when you need to make a big purchase you feel the need to justify it over and over. ( I truly don't care)

7. I Love that every night you are at work you ALWAYS call and tell us goodnight.

8. I Love that you can fix ANYTHING!!!

9. I Love that you will do anything to provide for us.

10. I Love that you don't mind where I go or what I do, even if it means a weekend here and there.

11. I LOVE to watch you with the kids.

12. I Love our occasional date nights (especially when the kids are in bed when we get home) (wink).

13. I Love that 99% of the time you are the first person to say "I'm Sorry". (sorry about that ;) )

Sorry so long since last post.............

Well, we haven't been up to too much so I have no new pictures or anything new to add.

Well, Alan did have to have 4 stitches on his finger. He got it caught in his chain on his bike AND I had to take him to Insta Care and IF any of you know me I DO NOT handle that stuff very well but we made it through AND Rich owes me BIG he was......................FISHING!!! LOL LOL He said he was just trying to ease me into the whole "accident" thing. Hmmm

And Miss Ellie just lost another top tooth she looks pretty cute.
Lane is doing great in school and learning something new everyday!!
Lisa is VERY upset with her school pictures (I think they are cute).
I signed Alan up for flag football, we'll see if he likes it, he wanted to try it.
Rich has been working some overtime!!! Whoo Hoo!!! Well, I am excited except for him being gone ANOTHER whole day. But we made a deal IF he works 3 days in a row I get..............$100. He keeps forgetting but you KNOW I remind him.
Well, maybe I will have something more interesting to post soon. But to have things a little mellow right now is OK with me.

The Birthday Girls!!!

Lisa turned 9 and well ,I turned ......................................40 !!!! I can't believe it!!!!

It was so funny getting on the treadmill at the gym this morning and putting in my NEW age.

Lane was so worried all day yesterday that he was going to miss something he wanted to go everywhere we went he didn't want to miss our birthday. I tried to tell him this is my birthday. No party balloons just a day. He didn't quite get it, he really wanted treat bags a pinata you know the works!!!

My friend called yesterday and thought everything outside looked OLD!!! Hmmmm and I told her when I looked outside early that morning I was surprised everything looked the same I guess I was thinking everything would look different then she asked if I looked in the mirror. LOL LOL I totally deserved it I tease her that she is my OLDEST friend a whole 44!!!

I just feel for my mom I can't imagine what I would feel like having my oldest child turn 40.

Lisa wanted her hair done for school with "springs" so while I was doing her hair she locked her knees and passed out!!!! It was so funny (I know sick sence of humor) so it took he a while to get out of it and finish her hair but check out this face.

We love having the same birthday. She knows she was my birthday present!!! And what a present!!! It is scary but we are so much alike. Rich doesn't get her but I do. I know exactly why she does what she does. It is so funny and scary because I know what I was like as a teenager and that is what scares me. LOL

Lisa has been wanting a Nintendo DS for a couple of years now so that is what she got she was just a little happy can you tell!!

I just want to thank all my family and friends for the lovely gifts and lunchs. Turning 40 was a lot better than I thought it was going to be. I can't wait to see what is in store for me the next few years.

Look who started school yesterday!!!!

Yup Lane!!!! He was so excited!!! He got dressed for school without being asked, shoes on the right feet, ate breakfast without a hundred why questions. He is such a big boy now!!! He even gets to take lunch.
It was so funny at his school when I was dropping him off a friend of mine asked if I was OK. I asked her why and she said you know Lane being at school. What do you think I said................."are you kidding me heck yeah"!!!!
It was so funny after I dropped him off I called a friend and told her to listen and what do you think she heard.........................NOTHING!!!!! HE HE !!! Two days a week, 4 hours at a time, 8 hours a week, I have complete silence!!! LOL LOL
On another note 3 days down till the BIG 4 --0!!!! YIKES!!

Company and a Potty Party!!!!

Yup, you read it right, we had company (my brother and his family) and we gave Lane his Potty Party!! We promised lane IF he would FINALLY go potty on the toilet he could have any kind of party he wanted. At first he wanted an army party and everyone had to wear camo clothes but if you know Lane and what he LOVES it ended up being a motorcycle party. Here are a couple of shots of him blowing out his candles on his cake.

He couldn't wait to get his new motorcycle and motorcycle guy!!! And man oh man do Rich and I love after 10 and a half years straight not buying diapers and wipes!!! Thats why the party and well he is a little over 4....................he was just finally ready and it only took 5 days and not one accident since!!! Whoooooo!!!!!

My brother came with his wife and 2 kids and we had fun. First we took them to Hurricane for Peach days. We have never been but it was a lot of fun and the kids had a good time. My moms husband came and took the two older ones to Pioche for the long weekend so we only had the two little ones. It was nice to just spend a little time with them and spoil Ellie and Lane a little. There was a candy canon and every 15 minutes they would shoot candy out of it and Lane sure liked that.They got their faces painted

This is my neice isn't she cute and look at that hair, yup another red head in the family YIKES!!! Lane and Kennedi know how to push each others buttons it is so funny!!!

So the next day we took them off-roading a little bit so Rich and Andy could do a little shooting (get ready for bird season).

Oh and ask Rich about his driving skills ever see Dukes of Hazzard? He He HE He's going to kill me for this one!!! LOL LOL

Here is my very handsome and very sweet nephew Liam WOW what a cutie and what a GREAT baby I have never been around such a good baby!!!

I just happened to catch this picture of my sister-in-law kissing her son. I had to grab it!!! I have to say I have the best sister-in-law in the world. She treats my kids like they are hers. She is so kind and generous I couldn't ask for anyone better for my brother. They are pretty luck to have each other.

I hope everybody had as good as a weekend as we did.

One more thing to be thankful for.

I just got a call from Rich and usually a call from him during the day makes me a little nervous. He tries to call when something big happens in Vegas because I always get a call from someone asking me how he is when there is a big fire and I usually don't know anything about it because we don't like in Vegas anymore. There was another small plane crash. He had to go in after the fire was out and look for people. None, thank goodness. But I am so thankful for Rich, he so is willing to help people. He is fortunate to have a job he LOVES and is good at it. I am ALWAYS so glad when he gets home from work, safe. I pray for him everyday to come home safe to us and unharmed.
Rich, thanks for all that you do.

I was just thinking.....

I was just reading a friend of mines blog on how thankful she is for her many blessings and her family and it had me thinking how thankful I am.
I am truly blessed with a husband that will do ANYTHING to support his family so we do not have to go without.
I am truly blessed with a beautiful home to cover our heads in heat and cold.
I am blessed with children that I just want to squeeze and not let go all the time because they love me and I love them unconditionally.
We have family that will help us ANYTIME we might need them.
I am blessed with so many friends that care about me and my needs that I could call any time day or night to just chat or to cry on their shoulder.
We are truly blessed to have all 6 of us healthy and happy.
I feel truly blessed that my Father in Heaven listens to me and helps me when I need Him.
I am blessed that Rich and I have worked so hard TOGETHER to get where we are today, it has been a lot of work and a lot of tears but we have made a GREAT life for ourselves.
I have so much more to be thankful for but I will save that for another post.
