Alright I have been working on my blog most of the day. I was trying to make it look.................sophisticated. Hmm..................
Thanks to Jenn she told me about this cute site to change my background and I am not sure what I think just yet. Damask is my most favorite thing right now. If I am shopping and I see this design I MUST have it!!!
I am hoping having the type a little bold will make it earier to read with the red background. Let me know.

It's been a while AGAIN...............since I last posted

I have been so busy!!! I went to Vegas last week for 3 days to visit a friend who was under the weather. We had a lot of girl time.

The kids had a couple of days off last week so Rich wanted to take them to Coral Pink and check it out, look at how how pretty it is there

Well here is Alan's NEW bike

Alan would like to thank everyone who helped in paying for his bike for his birthday. Thank you Grammie and Papa, Perez family and Butsavich family. You all are the best!! X0X0

. I haven't been able to catch a picture of him on it yet, he doesn't have time for pictures. That is his best firend from the neighborhood and they are VERY busy. They are attached at the hip,they have to go everywhere together. They fix other kids bikes in the neighborhood and also paint them. So if you need a bike fixed or painted just ask.

So I have had a few people ask what is my new calling.....................I am now our secretary in Primary. I really can not believe it. I have never even been in Primary and I know nothing about it but I am learning quickly. I have lots of meetings right now like from 8 to midnight every Wednesday (lots of planning) and this last Sunday morning at 8 am that one was hard to get up for. I am also trying to finish up my last two so I can concentrate on my new calling. So you can say I am a little tired right now.

Here is a "new" hobby I just started recently (while we were camping) I am a little embarrased t0 show you but let me know what you think (watercolor painting) the first one is the view from inside the trailer.

No laughing please. ;)

I had a IEP with Lane's teachers yesterday and he is doing pretty good in school right now. We still have a few things to work on. You know that red hair and all he is one tough kid.

Alan is doing good in Flag football his last game he caught 2 interseptions!!!!

Ellie is doing good at school also. She is so quiet at school that the teacher needs her to ask questions more and speak up if she has a question. We're just working on improving her reading right now.

Lisa is doing GREAT in school as usual. She is still the best reader in her class. A title she holds prouldy, just ask her. LOL

Rich is working his butt off as usual. He still has this huge remodel he is trying to finish. Poor guy all he wants is a couple of days off to go and hunting.

So that is my family right now everybody is healthy and doing pretty good. I hope all is well with everyone who reads this.

Back from camping/hunting AND Alan turned 11....

Well, I made it through another camping trip.............kinda!!! LOL It was cold, VERY wet and LONG. But Rich had fun!! He HE The leaves were changing it was beautiful!!! I just can't get over all the colors. These are some of the pictures from our camp site.

This is poor Alan he LOVES to go camping and hunting. My moms husband has been taking him since I think he was 5 and this is what he does everytime........

He throws up. Usually it is just the first morning BUT this time it was every morning. He is fine after and ready to eat.I am not sure if it is nerves, excitement, anxiety all of the above. Jim says that if it were him and got sick EVERY time he went hunting he woudn't go. Umm me either!!!

So, here are a couple of things my kids get to do BUT I never got to (my mom is going to HATE this LOL) Light a piece of wood on fire with a magnifying glass. Have a gun. Eat cake batter (for Dutch oven cobbler)

Look at that face and I mean look.............see the bar-b-que sauce on his face!! LOL Alan wanted ribs for his birthday dinner and since I couldn't make a cake camping he went for Dutch oven peach cobbler!!! And this is his new scope for his 22 he was so excited and surprised. He is getting a new bike for his birthday and Rich ordered it, it is from the WHOLE family (thanks everybody) and it will be here in a few days and he doesn't even know. Rich bought this hammock for himself to relax when we go camping but the kids took it over and it keeps them busy for hours!!!Our first attempt at a Dutch oven dinner, chicken and rice it was GREAT!!!OK what song comes to mind when you see this picture...................."The hills are alive with the sound of music......" He HE The first thing Ellie likes to do when we camp is catch bugs. Check out that cricket.

And I save the best for last(well, for a reason)(eye roll) Rich got a deer...

So you can imagine Rich and Alan are very happy, Me not so much see what I get to do.........So I am off to do lots and lots of smelly laundry. Wish me luck..............

anniversary day

Look at all the fun stuff I did today

I made HOMEMADE cimmamon rolls. Yup all by myself. I truly can not believe it!!! I proofed the yeast. let them raise. rolled them out. raise once again. baked and look. AND they were really good!!! So if anybody comes to see me I will make these!! (wink) OH and cream cheese frosting!!! and my house smells soooo good!!

Rich brought home these pretty roses for our anniversary. Ahhhh...............

Check out the coach oops I mean Alan in his first flag football game. His team did pretty good for only 3 practices. He liked it and I think he might want to play tackle next year.(sorry mom).

Rich and I had a good day just a few errands. Took Lane to the park. We picked up a present for Alan's birthday on Monday.Because.............WE and I mean WE are going camping/hunting. I am not sure why I am going but Rich caught me at a very weak moment. I have tried to get out of it but no luck. So I will have lots to share next week. I am so hoping he does not get a deer YUK!! I can't stand it. No matter who or how someone cooks it it STILL tastes like deer!!! So the girls and I are going to bond over some crafting and a neighbor gave me a couple of books to read so I am hoping for the best. LOL LOL

And one more thing. I just got a pretty big calling at church (well big for me). When a man comes over to you at church, asks for you to meet the Bishop in his office ,with your husband, after church.................RUN!!!! I am pretty excited, a little nervous, but I know plenty of blessing will come to myself and my family. I will fill everyone in later..........

Happy 13th Anniversary babe!!

Wow 13 years and we made it!! It has been a tough 13 years with a lot of tears and obstacles along the way but it has so been worth it. So my gift to you is 13 reasons "Why I Love You"........

1. I Love to hear you laugh it makes my heart happy.

2. I Love you in your uniform !!! Huba Huba

3. I Love that you take the kids places to give me a much needed break.

4. I Love that no matter what we have for dinner you NEVER complain.

5. I LOVE that tush and don't get me started on those lips!!!

6. I Love that when you need to make a big purchase you feel the need to justify it over and over. ( I truly don't care)

7. I Love that every night you are at work you ALWAYS call and tell us goodnight.

8. I Love that you can fix ANYTHING!!!

9. I Love that you will do anything to provide for us.

10. I Love that you don't mind where I go or what I do, even if it means a weekend here and there.

11. I LOVE to watch you with the kids.

12. I Love our occasional date nights (especially when the kids are in bed when we get home) (wink).

13. I Love that 99% of the time you are the first person to say "I'm Sorry". (sorry about that ;) )
