And there he goes..............

Look at my little guy!!!! He is our OLDEST child to finally ride without training wheels!!! Everyone else was 3 or 3 and a half but if you know Lane he does EVERYTHING at his own pace............But you have to notice the "sticks" where the training wheels used to go. A couple of months ago he asked Rich to take off the wheels but keep the "sticks" so Rich did and he wouldn't ride it, but wanted the "sticks" still on so, we waited.............

Sooo.............yesterday was the "Day" that he was going to ride his bike and Rich was allowed to take the "stick" off!!! And look at him now!!!

Now, Rich told me that the reason he wanted to ride his bike without the "stick' on is because he has been asking Rich if he can ride the little 50 sooo.......... Rich told him not until he can ride his bike without training wheels..............Hmmm.......... I think I see Kennedi getting a 4 wheeler in her very near future.

I'm Baaack!!!

Oh my gosh I haven't posted in a while,so sorry, this is going to be LONG!!

Well, we enjoyed Christmas. We stayed home this year and just relaxed the kids, they liked all their presents and Christmas day we went to see a movie this being our new tradition!! We saw Bedtime Stories and we all really liked it.Here are a couple of pictures of the kids......

Here is Lisa with her new MP3 player and it plays videos!!!

Alan with his "skinny' jeans. He wanted "skinny" jeans so bad!! If you don't know what they are they are the tight, peg legged jeans ALL the cool kids wear now. I so remember these!!!(in the old days) I can't get them off of him he wears them ALL the time. He got made fun of the first time he wore them to school but I told him to wear them one more time the kids probably got it out of their system the first time he wore them and it worked. No more teasing!! WOW!! Sometimes I am right!!

All Lane wanted for Christmas was Star Wars 6 and that is what he asked Santa for. He has a friend he plays with and ALL this little boy talks about is Star Wars so we got him a few things and he was VERY happy!! And last all Ellie wanted was a cupcake maker. I really didn't want to get her one but.......... here it is!!!

Look at Rich what a DAD!!! They made cupcakes for all the kids!!See my little left hander like Rich. It is so funny to see her use her left hand. I always wanted to be left handed.Check out this happy girl, red velvet cake.

Alan out-grew his 65 and so we HAD (wink) to bump him up to an 85, he just loves this bike he can't believe how fast it goes,Oh and check out the skinny jeans!! I am just so thankful Rich can find such great deals.I am hoping that he can use this one for a LONG time!!

******* LANE AND ELLIE WANT TO TELL EVERYONE HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!*********

I hope everyone had a great Christmas.

I hope this coming year is good for all and also healthy.

much love,Sherrie

A Gingerbread House and a Snow Day

Well, we have been busy lately getting ready for Christmas, the car breaking down in Vegas (of course when I am driving it) and one heck of a snow storm!!!

Here are a couple pictures of our Gingerbread House

Can you tell Lane is a little excited to decorate the house and eat some candy!!!Look at those faces!!!I am not sure if it will show up but look at the right side of Rich's face , see any green frosting??!!

We told the kids if they would hurry up and take a shower and eat dinner, we would decorate the gingerbread house. It worked GREAT!! I think it was the fastest they have ever eaten and taken showers.

So here are a couple of shots of the snow and the kids.

Ellie making a snow angel.

This is our walk way to the front door. And no this is not me with any funny angles playing with the camera it is VERY steep. It is FABULOUS when there is ice or snow the kids and the neighbor kids LOVE to slide down it.This is Alan's skateboard he left out. Thats a lot of snow?

See my door, Rich just painted it red. I LOVE it!!! Some of the neighbors asked if we did it for Christmas. I have ALWAYS wanted a red door. Look at our light up deer. Rich wants to have a heard out front eventially. So every year we are going to add two more. He almost killed himself a couple of years ago putting up lights on the house so he said he WILL NOT put them up ever again on this house. (darn it) I tried to tell him he is fine now but no go............

Do you like this one??? Don't think Alan didn't hit Lisa with that snowball. She was pretty upset!!! This was taken last night when the snow first started.

Hey did you know that when it snows AND when you have trees that don't loose their leaves they need to be shaked or they break..............hummm we didn't know that!!!

The Taylors lost yet another tree!!! We (well, Rich) have the worst luck with trees. We have had to replace so many trees around here usually from the wind but now the snow. Poor Rich.

Here is Ellie taking a moment with the snowman that Rich helped her make. Hey, around here you never know when you might see snow again.

Here is a shot of Rich. And my door. Oh!!! and the wreath Aunt Linda made!!! See that skruff on Rich's face this what he does when he is off for over a week.........He goes back tomorrow!!! (wink)

The kids were off today, it was a snow day. They are REALLY hoping for another storm tonight but I am not sure they are going to get so lucky..........

So I hope everyone is almost ready for Christmas and healthy.

Much love,

Sherrie

I saw it again.................

Ok I went and saw Twilight once again hoping and hoping I would like it better and I did!!!
The first time a saw it I thought it was HORRIBLE!! Bad lighting, TERRIBLE acting, way over acting and so much more I could go into.
It was so funny as I watched it the first time because the audience would go wild at different scenes. Like when Edward first walked in and OHH the kissing scene...................
I do have to say on my first time seeing the movie the sound was bad, and I mean it was broken. So on seeing it last night having background music made a big difference. And my friend and I thought that the picture looked better also ( maybe wishful thinking LOL). But I do have to say I did like it better. So out of 5 stars I would give it 2 and a half. But my first time, I gave it one star.
I am looking forward to ther next movie and would for sure go to the midnight showing once again. I am just hoping they put a lot more effort into the next movie.
So here are my two cents. BUT................you MUST read the books!!!!!

Happy Thanksgiving

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. We sure did!!! Rich and I had our first, yes first Thanksgiving together with our little family. It was fun, relaxing and just plain nice. Here is what I am so thankful for this year..............

MY Family!!!!!!

I didn't set a fancy table because the kids could not get over we were eating at 4 o'clock!!!

They thought I had lost my mind. What were going to eat for dinner, why were we eating so early, do we still get dessert, whats wrong?? He He

I like to shake things up here every once in a while!!!! Keep my kids on their toes. Confuse them every once in a while. It makes my day so much better!!! (wink)

And for some reason on Black Friday, Rich decided to go shoppping with me. I am still not sure why but he did. And I am hoping it is his last, at least with me. He was not fun!! Just a big grump. So next year after Thnaksgiving I will drive down to Vegas and go shopping with my sister and my sister-in-law, we have so much fun!!! I LOVE to fight the crowds , get a GREAT bargain and see my sister at work. She is in for the kill. It is a totally different side of my very sweet sister. Corilla Deville comes out at 4:00 clock in the morning the day after Thanksgiving. We don't even have a say in where we get to go. Bridget and I just do as she says. Love ya sis.............but you know it is true!!! I sure missed going with you two this year!!

So we drove down to Beaver for the day on Saturday just to hang out I took a couple of pictures of the family. Rich works for this guy who has a ranch there and it is so much fun the kids had a ball.

It was so cold and windy but they didn't care, this guy has Llama's , a huge tire swing, well, two one horizontal and one vertical, a couple of rope swings, monkey bars, a couple of ponds, a swing and a TON of deer all over. Rich and Alan were in heaven. Here are a few more shots..............

Everyone is fine and healthy here. Lane had to get a few shots to continue to go to his school and it is a LONG story but he gets to go back tomorrow. He sure was a trooper. He took them like a champ!! I was so proud. And poor Ellie had to have 11 warts frozen off her hands again and she was soo goood. She asked me when she was done if she was good and I said "heck yeah" but she didn't think so, because she cried at the end but I assured her she was GREAT!! She tried so hard for so long not to cry but she couldn't hold it anymore. She is one tough cookie!! And if you know her you know she is!

Ok, I had to add on more photo. I didn't have it fair. Look at that smile!!! He's such a good boy!!

And one last shot of my monkey!!! This picture is for Uncle Andy. Ellie's hand are so tough from callouses(sp?) she loves the monkey bars.

I hope all is well with everyone. I will try and get better with posting. I have been so bad lately.

Well, much love, Sherrie
