I love this picture, Lane's hands look just like Rich's hands it was so funny when I looked at this picture, his are even wrinkled like Rich's. LOL

See the way Alan is holding his mouth, he just got this huge spacer in his mouth that day and he makes so much noise with his mouth it drives me nuts!!! I can't wait till that thing comes out!!! In six months!!!

These are Easter day pictures. We had the best Easter we went to Vegas and really enjoyed the family it was fun for the kids to play with their cousins and of course look for eggs. I didn't think Alan would want to look for eggs this year,you know he is 12. But when he found out there was candy and McDonald gift certifates in some of the eggs he forgot how old he was.




And let me tell you there were so many eggs that the Easter bunny had to put them on the wall in trees in bushes even decorate Papa with some....

This is his son Liam, I love him so much too!!! He was loving the whole Easter egg hunt.

His mom, my sister-in-law. I love her too!!! She wasn't liking me when I took this and really won't when she sees it made it on my blog. Look how good she looks for having a 8 month old baby!!!

Lisa found almost all the McDonald's gift certificates. Grammie brought those.....

Then when we got home we had a visitor. The Easter bunny had been to our home!!!!

Ellie, well all the kids couldn't believe they got a solid chocolate bunny!! They said they new for sure that we weren't the Easter bunny!!! (wink)

April Fools Day

Ok, I got them again!!!! It was so much harder this year to get my kids because they were expecting something. So instead of them thinking they were getting dessert and it was really dinner, I made them dessert and they were thinking it was dinner. So check out these pictures..

They were faux Chicken Pot Pies!!!!!

I LOVE this look on his face he didn't know WHAT he was eating!!! LOL LOL

Lisa said she wasn't going to trust anything I made that day to eat. But she did fall for this, she tried to touch the pot pies sitting on a cookie sheeet on the stove but I told her they were hot and don't touch (because they were cold) (wink)Ellie wasn't quit sure what the heck was in it either....

Doesn't this look like a chicken pot pie. I made the tops out of real pie crust but the kids didn't like them so in every picture you can see them off. There is cut up bananas for the potatoes,vanilla pudding for the cream base and i had to cut and mold orange and green tootsie rolls for the peas and carrots. You are supposed to put in dehydrated apples for the chicken but i forgot.(Oh and get the little pie plates at the grocery store)

And Lane wouldn't have anything to do with chicken pot pie (which i don't blame him) so he was off playing.

I am really going to try and think of something good for next year. So it can't have anything to do with food.

Check out these two new pieces

Look at this buffet... I LOVE it!!! I got this off Craigslist. I haven't seen anything on there in a while (which Rich was VERY happy) so he sanded it and painted it and I shabby chic'd it. He always takes over so I just have a little bit to do but.....i'm not going to complain!!!!

I have this piece in my craft room. And......I KNOW yellow.........well I thought I would try something new and I am glad I did!!!

This QT is a little hutch. I guess the doors came of from when the previous owners moved it but I don't care I like it the way it is. And your not going to believe what color I painted this one......

It is kind of hard to see the color but it is a pale vintage blue. I really like it. Now I have to re-organize my craft room to show off these pretties!!!

Can any of you believe these two pieces are not black or white???

My kids didn't know who they were for..... (wink)

A Day off with the Family!!!

What a great day we had!!!! Rich had the day off so we went and did a little off roading.

Here I am throwing clay pigeons for Alan. And man did he do great!!!

I had to show this one....check out his face waiting for me to throw.......it took a while to get the hang of throwing those stupid things again, its been a while!!! Boy, is my arm sore today.....

See this cutie ......... he has not been doing his homework and and getting into trouble at school and I told himlast time I got a call or e-mail from school I was spending the week with him at school.

Well, what do you think happened last week...............I got two phone calls from school. So what do you think I get to do this week.........yup you got it right...I get to go to school again and be a sixth grader!!!!

Let me tell you I went yesterday and I liked sixth grade the first time.

And Alan didn't find out till right before school started that I was spending some time with him (wink). Let's just say it didn't go over very well. LOL

Rich is going today and spending the day. He was so worried Rich was going to embarras him. And he should be!!!! LOL

I think we have gotten his attention and I don't think I am going to be getting anymore phone calls again or least till next year ;)

Rich and I take going to school, paying attention and having respect for your teacher very serious. I think he will now or least try a little harder. He is such a good boy and just likes to socialize a little too much. He has to sit in the front of the class in every class in front of the teachers desk. Ummm, hello wouldn' you get a clue that maybe you should chill out a bit.......

I am so hoping I don't have to do that again. My butt hurts. I did see some interesting stuff though..... LOL
