I saw Twilight!!!

Ok, I saw the movie and I am going to keep my opinion to myself until Monday. I don't want to spoil my opinion for my friends and family who have not seen it yet. But.....................when you do see it please let me know what you think!!! I am dieing to chat with someone about it!!! I do have to say that my friend and I (Hi Cherise) had so much fun waiting in line FREEZING and chatting with other Twilighters about the movie. I met a lady last night that just started reading the series in June and is going on her 15th time reading it (the whole series)!!! Huh!!! Her poor family!!!

I can't believe it has been 2 weeks since my last post!!!

Sorry it has been so long AGAIN since the last post but we have been a little busy. Well a lot busy.....
I am waiting not so patiently for the Twilight movie to come out!!! Look at the right I only have to wait 3 more days!!!! I am so excited!!! My friend just got hooked on the books also and we are going to the midnight show. Well, 12:01 showing. Not to bright on my part because the next day I am back to normal but I will be swept up on emotion of finally seeing Edward and Bella on the big screen!! AHHH did I say it is only 3 days away?? We are going to grab Cafe Rio and our lawn chairs and sit and wait with all the other Twilight fans for our first image of Edward.
Ahhh Edward ............................that is all I am going to say because Rich reads my blog and I don't want him upset but...............hmmmm if only he sparkled in the sunlight....................and hummed me my own lullaby and shredded my headboard. What a life it would be!!!!
He He Only kidding babe. Your the best!!!!

Did I say the movie is only 3 days away?

I have been slaving away on my scrapbook room. A client of Rich's picked up an IKEA bookcase for me. Rich just put it together Saturday and I have been decorating and re-organizing my room since. And let me tell you if you have ever seen my scrapbook room you know I have a lot of "stuff". I took a before picture and I am going to try and take an after tomorrow IF I can finish tomorrow. It is looking pretty cute if I must say so myself!! Look for pictures SOON!!!

The kids all got their report cards last week and they are doing great.

The Twilight movie comes out on Thursday!!!

Alan's team made it to the play-offs in flag football so his first game for that is Saturday.

Rich is still working his tail off. But............I am making him go riding tomorrow. He is pretty upset about going but he is going anyways!!! LOL ;)

I just got a call today that Lane is behind on two shots and can't go to school until he gets them (nice huh, a little warning would have been nice) so off to the doctor he goes. He was standing next to me when I called the Dr.'s office and told them he needed shots and he yelled NO SHOTS!! and the receptionist on the other end heard and we laughed so hard he was grabbing my legs crying I felt pretty bad but it was pretty funny if you know Lane.
Ellie has to get about 8 more warts burned off her hands tomorrow.I feel REALLY bad for her she had a hard time with that last time but some grew back and then some. I haven't even told her yet I am keeping that until the morning. Poor girl......:(
Send her special thought tomorrow afternoon. And Lane too!!! (well, me too I have to take them both) I think we are going to need ice cream after that!!

Did any of you see the Oprah where you can order the free Custom Cover Book? I just got done with my order I think it is going to be pretty cute. It took 4 days of constantly trying to get it done because so many people were on line but I did it. It sure was easy and what a great gift, for that someone you don't know what to get for them. It is a custom made book (20 pages) of pictures of whatever you have on your didgital camera. Because so many people ordered it normally only takes a week to get it will take 3 weeks. But heck it was free and it is normally $30. I will show pictures when I get it.

The kids have been trying to come down with something for a while now. Poor Alan has had a sore throat for a week now. Lane broke out with a fever tonight and went to bed without being told. Lisa is faking a sore throat LOL And Ellie, she's just happy as usual!!!

Crazy Hair Day and family updates

It was crazy hair day at school last week at look at these CRAZY girls.

I am busy still with my new calling and helping out in Ellie's class and keeping up with everyone's schedule.

Rich is still remodeling a home for someone. And some occasional overtime.

Alan is still playing flag football and riding his"new" bike.

Lisa is getting better and better at the piano. I love to hear her learn a new song.

Miss Ellie is getting better at reading she just got bumped up 2 levels in reading. I keep telling her practice, practice, practice and look it worked!!!

Lane is doing ok in school. He still has some minor issues but will be able to go forward into Kindergarten next year. I can't believe he is going to be old enough to go to elementary school.

As a family we have been taking the ocassional off-road trip we all love.

So once again it is pretty mellow around here (I guess) (wink).

Alright I have been working on my blog most of the day. I was trying to make it look.................sophisticated. Hmm..................
Thanks to Jenn she told me about this cute site to change my background and I am not sure what I think just yet. Damask is my most favorite thing right now. If I am shopping and I see this design I MUST have it!!!
I am hoping having the type a little bold will make it earier to read with the red background. Let me know.

It's been a while AGAIN...............since I last posted

I have been so busy!!! I went to Vegas last week for 3 days to visit a friend who was under the weather. We had a lot of girl time.

The kids had a couple of days off last week so Rich wanted to take them to Coral Pink and check it out, look at how how pretty it is there

Well here is Alan's NEW bike

Alan would like to thank everyone who helped in paying for his bike for his birthday. Thank you Grammie and Papa, Perez family and Butsavich family. You all are the best!! X0X0

. I haven't been able to catch a picture of him on it yet, he doesn't have time for pictures. That is his best firend from the neighborhood and they are VERY busy. They are attached at the hip,they have to go everywhere together. They fix other kids bikes in the neighborhood and also paint them. So if you need a bike fixed or painted just ask.

So I have had a few people ask what is my new calling.....................I am now our secretary in Primary. I really can not believe it. I have never even been in Primary and I know nothing about it but I am learning quickly. I have lots of meetings right now like from 8 to midnight every Wednesday (lots of planning) and this last Sunday morning at 8 am that one was hard to get up for. I am also trying to finish up my last two so I can concentrate on my new calling. So you can say I am a little tired right now.

Here is a "new" hobby I just started recently (while we were camping) I am a little embarrased t0 show you but let me know what you think (watercolor painting) the first one is the view from inside the trailer.

No laughing please. ;)

I had a IEP with Lane's teachers yesterday and he is doing pretty good in school right now. We still have a few things to work on. You know that red hair and all he is one tough kid.

Alan is doing good in Flag football his last game he caught 2 interseptions!!!!

Ellie is doing good at school also. She is so quiet at school that the teacher needs her to ask questions more and speak up if she has a question. We're just working on improving her reading right now.

Lisa is doing GREAT in school as usual. She is still the best reader in her class. A title she holds prouldy, just ask her. LOL

Rich is working his butt off as usual. He still has this huge remodel he is trying to finish. Poor guy all he wants is a couple of days off to go and hunting.

So that is my family right now everybody is healthy and doing pretty good. I hope all is well with everyone who reads this.
